These core competencies specify the skills, knowledge and abilities necessary for proper performance of Federal Property Utilization Officer (PUO) Duties.  

These competencies provide the foundation for the competency-based e-learning, knowledge management and performance support provided in The Federal Personal Property Management Desk Reference & Training Course on Know Net 2 for this position.

Mastery of the Competencies of the Property Custodial Officer (PCO) and the Property Accountable Officer (PAO) is a prerequisite.

Core competencies address technical requirements only and do not address such additional requirements as communication, computer and management skills.
