Federal Property Management Officer (PMO) Competencies



Competencies are the characteristics that result in superior performance.  

These core competencies specify the skills, knowledge and abilities necessary for proper performance of Federal Property Property Management Officer (PMO) Duties.  

These competencies provide the foundation for the competency-based e-learning, knowledge management and performance support provided in The Federal Personal Property Management Desk Reference & Training Course on Know Net 2 for this position.

Mastery of the Competencies of the Property Custodial Officer (PCO), the Property Accountable Officer (PAO), the Property Administrator (PA)/Industrial Property Management Specialist (IPMS) and the Property Utilization Officer (PUO) is a prerequisite.

Core competencies address technical requirements only and do not address such additional requirements as communication, computer and management skills.
